See you in Portland!
We’ve got some great speakers and presentations lined up for you. Here’s a taste of what you can expect in April.

Dennis Hahn
Dennis Hahn is a cocktail enthusiast living in Portland, Oregon. My focus is on inspiring the average person who appreciates good cocktails to make them on their own at home. I have found that a lot of people who appreciate a good quality drink often have no idea how to put them together, or how to properly pair cocktails with food as a substitute for wine. I’m targeting people between the serious home hobbyist down to the person who only makes two-ingredient cocktails.

Steve McCarthy
Clear Creek Distillery owner Steve McCarthy and his brandies are respected internationally, served in the world’s best restaurants, and celebrated by connoisseurs everywhere. Steve McCarthy received Bon Appetit’s American Food & Entertaining Award “Wine and Spirit Professional of the Year”. His spirits continue to be called “the most extraordinary eaux-de-vie in America, indeed, in the world”.

Nathan Gerdes
A firm believer in quality over quantity, Nathan Gerdes spent 2 years studying, tasting, and consuming the stories and products from some of the best distilleries in the world. As lead bartender at Portland’s Alu Wine Bar & Lounge, Nathan has found a clientele and community of local producers who firmly believe quality ingredients directly relate to a quality of life. He looks forward to helping change the way most people think about cocktails

Craig “Colonel Tiki” Hermann
Craig Hermann is an IT professional by day and bartender by night in Portland, Oregon. He is a member of the Oregon Bartender’s Guild and a founding member of the Cocktails & Spirits Online Writer’s Group. While not working on enterprise transit networks, he mixes drinks at Thatch Tiki Bar, takes pretty pictures, writes, and dabbles in graphic and web design.

Blair “Trader Tiki” Reynolds
Blair Reynolds is a Portland, OR based blogger and bartender. His site TraderTiki.com has been running for over two years, covering classic and modern tropical drinks, tiki bars, and rum. Blair was recently featured as an “Internet Pioneer” in Ted Haigh’s Vintage Spirits and Forgotten Cocktails second edition. Blair also runs tiki nights at several bars in the Pacific Northwest, and recently launched a syrups and bitters product line featuring exotic flavors for tropical mixology.

Matt “Rumdood” Robold
